Remember To Take A Break If You Need One

Happy Sunday everyone!!

I hope you have all had a lovely week.

This may be my last update here for a while.

I thought I would be a lot more on top of things, but I have become quite overwhelmed with all the things I have to do, to the point that I've barely got anything done this week.

I haven't crafted anything (not even worked on part of a project) in at least 2 weeks. I've only made a couple of digital designs which are very basic, and I am not even a little bit happy with them. My coursework isn't happening really - I've barely gotten anything done. I'm not keeping up with interactions on any of my social media pages, and my posting (in terms of regularity and content) have taken a hit too.

But I seem to be spending a lot of time updating my website and preparing and scheduling crafting posts and blog updates, and the views and interaction on all my posts, and on my website are pretty much non-existent - and are dropping consistently.

So while I work on getting on top of everything, I am going to see about dropping updating in these posts and sharing my craft blogs, as they're less of a priority right now.

I will try and update my website as often as possible, but again, it's not much of a priority.

So you may see me around here, or may see a few updates on my site if you keep looking, but I am planning on taking a month off.

Please keep a look out on my Instagram pages to keep up to date on my reading, crafting, designs, hauls, photography and more.

But now lets get onto the update aspect of this post...

This weeks updates on my site:

  • 3 nature photography photos in StormCloud Photography,

  • 1 blog post of a crafting project in Cloud's Silver Linings (The Perks Of Designing A Magnet (wixsite.com)),

  • 4 Cloud's Silver Linings Designs - Book Quote Designs (found in the Cloud's Silver Linings Designs tab!!!),

  • 3 book reviews in My Books & Reviews - A collection of these can be seen at the bottom of this blog update, however reviews are all attached to the photos on the webpage.

    • These books are the start of my June reads.

My personal update:

  • Since the last update, I have read 5 books.

  • My current read is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.

  • This book may be one of my favourites. I am only about half way through at the moment, but I am in love with the ideas, the themes, and the book as a whole. At the rate it is going, it might just be my number 1 read of 2021 so far! It is on track for a 10 (out of 5) stars. I really hope the ending keeps up with the rest of the book, but I do have high hopes for it. I recommend you read it if you haven't already!

  • I have nearly finished the first module on my online course. I am loving it so far, all the new things I have learned so far, but I am finding it hard to find the time to actually sit and work on it at the moment. I hope to get through a lot more of it soon.

  • I am still only a couple of episodes through season 2 of Thirteen Reasons Why, as I haven't had much opportunity to watch it, but I have been enjoying it still. It is so full of emotion, hard hitting, and overall an amazing show!

  • I still have a load of May hauls to share (especially on my Bookstagram), and I have just purchased a whole load more books yesterday! I am so excited to start reading through them!

Thank you to those who have been checking out my website and reading my posts and updates.

Thank you for sticking with me throughout my rambling.

I hope to be back posting for you again soon!

I'll leave you with this lovely quote which gives me a lot of hope - I hope you find some hope in it too...
