We're Not Afraid Of The Dark, We Come Alive In It

This was one of my favourite pieces of work, and started a new set of project ideas for me!

I purchased this lovely art print as a gift for someone but couldn't find a decent frame for it, one that suited the artwork and would have been appreciated by the recipient.

So I decided to create my own... A Batman & Catwoman decoupage comic frame 🦇🐈🖤

I purchased a couple of end-of-line comics (one Batman and one Catwoman) and took some images and quotes from the comic which I felt suited the style and shape of the frame. Using a selection from both of the the comics, I started adding them to the pre-made A4 size PDF frame I purchased using a watered-down glue substance.

This came out so much better than I could have hoped for, and it has inspired me to create some more of these frames.

At present I have made 5 additional frames.

I have a whole load of comics from a variety of genres (DC, Marvel, child friendly, horror and much more).

I am now waiting on the warmer weather to come back as it makes the process a lot quicker and easier as the warmer weather ensures a quicker drying time.
