When Books & Photography Combine!!

I got into creating digital designs over the last few months - starting off using my photography and adding text and other design features to them.

I loved creating the designs - it was a lot of fun and I loved using my creativity and letting my ideas flow.

After a while of making these, I realised I wanted to make something out of my ideas - I wanted to make more than just the digital creations; I wanted to make actual products I could print/have printed.

I then got my My Favourite Quotes sheets from an Etsy shop and began tracking quotes I love from books. (Book Quotes Notepad My Favourite Quotes Tracker Book Club | Etsy)

I can remember reading a book, writing out a quote and thinking "wow, that would be amazing on a bookmark!"

That's when I had the idea. I could design my own bookmarks!

So that's what I've done!

I adapted some of my previous designs using my photography to make bookmark designs out of them as a starting point- just to see if I could do it, and to see how they turned out. I thought they looked really good as bookmarks, so I decided to create more: this time using book quotes and other bookish themes.

As I have a lot more bookmarks than I realised, todays post is all about the bookmarks based around my photography - I will share all my other designs next week!!

These were so fun to make, and I am looking to start selling some on Etsy very soon!

I will (of course) be keeping one of each for myself (and of course I will be putting them all to good use!!).
